Responsible Gambling Tools Available on Cwinz

Cwinz provides several built-in tools to help players manage their gambling. All of them are free, available to every registered player regardless of how much they have deposited, and can be activated through your account or by contacting support.

Limit type 01

Deposit Limits

Cap the maximum amount you can deposit over a daily, weekly, or monthly period. Set these when you register and adjust them at any time in your profile. Reductions take effect immediately; increases require a waiting period, which protects you from impulsive decisions.

Limit type 02

Loss Limits

Define the maximum you are willing to lose in a given time frame. When you hit your limit, the platform will prevent further play until the period resets. This pairs well with deposit limits for a double layer of protection.

Limit type 03

Session Limits

Receive a notification or automatic stop once you have been playing for a set amount of time. Useful for preventing the “just one more spin” effect that can turn a 30-minute session into several hours.

Break tool 04

7-Day Cooling Off

Request a short break of exactly seven days through Cwinz Live Chat or by emailing help@cwinz.com. Your account is locked for the full duration, and you receive an email when the period ends. Once activated, it cannot be reversed.

Break tool 05

Self-Exclusion

Close your account for a period of your choosing — from 6 months to indefinitely. During exclusion you cannot log in, your balance is protected, and promotional emails stop. Self-exclusion can be activated directly from your profile under Self-Exclusion, or by contacting support. Like cooling off, it cannot be reversed until the chosen period ends.

All tools are free and available to every registered player. To activate cooling off or self-exclusion, contact Cwinz at help@cwinz.com or via Live Chat.

What Cwinz Gets Right — and Where There Is Room to Improve

As a Cwinz Iraq affiliate, we believe in giving players an honest picture of the platform. Here is how their responsible gambling offering stacks up.

What is good

Gets it right

  • Deposit, loss & session limits — all available directly in your profile. No need to contact support, which means players are far more likely to actually use them.
  • Self-exclusion is self-serve — activatable from the profile without going through an agent. This is the right call and removes a meaningful barrier.
  • Balance protection — funds remain safe during self-exclusion. Players can withdraw their balance once the period ends.
  • Recognised support organisations — Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy are listed. Both are legitimate, widely trusted and available 24/7.
  • Self-exclusion range — players can choose anything from 6 months to indefinitely, which covers a wide spectrum of need.
What is okay

Could be better

  • Cooling off requires support contact — players must go through Live Chat or email to get a 7-day break. Having to explain yourself when in distress is a real barrier.
  • Only one cooling-off duration — just 7 days. Options of 24 hours, 3 days, or 30 days would serve a much wider range of player situations.
What is missing

Not yet there

  • No in-session reality checks — periodic pop-ups showing time played and money spent are absent. This is a standard feature on most responsible gambling platforms and one of the most effective nudges available.
  • English only — all responsible gambling content is in English. For Iraqi players, Arabic-language guidance would dramatically improve how many players read and actually use these tools.
  • No third-party blocking tools — no mention of tools like Gamban, which lets players block gambling sites across all their devices. A strong additional layer of self-protection.

3 Missing

Cwinz provides a solid, functional responsible gambling framework — the core tools are in place and mostly self-serve, which matters. The gaps are real though: no reality checks, English-only content, and a single cooling-off option requiring a support request. We hope to see these addressed, particularly Arabic-language tools for Iraqi players.
